Evidence of a personal and growing Christian faith • College degree, including evidence of lifelong learning and desire for continual development • Experience in coaching and management of youth sports, with an understanding of the physical, emotional, and mental development of students • Demonstrated coaching success at the high school level or above • A passion for mentoring student-athletes through sports and life • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and technological skills • Knowledge coaching in a Christian school environment Experience leading a full program (middle and high school levels) • Familiarity with college recruitment processes • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Knowledge and ability to perform the physical demands of overseeing and preparing facilities for practices and games. • Demonstrates a life committed to the gospel of Jesus Christ Commits to discipleship as the highest calling of a Christian coach • Supports and embodies the mission and vision of Harding Academy and the athletic department • Coaches within the InSideOut Initiative, placing character and purpose at the center of competition • Serves as a transformational leader for all students, families, and community members • Teaches values, character, and life lessons beyond athletics • Displays positivity and encouragement when interacting with athletes, parents, officials, and opponents.
