Commitment to ACES's mission to reduce the academic opportunity gap and prepare students to succeed • Ability to work regular program hours and occasional extended hours, including evenings and weekends Desired Skills & Experience • Bilingual in English and Spanish, Somali, or Hmong • Experience working with youth • Experience in teaching, lesson planning, or tutoring, especially in math • Experience working in underserved and historically marginalized communities • Current Minnesota teaching license or desire to pursue one. With their cohort group, Academic Coaches will attend and participate in initial trainings, monthly full-cohort professional development provided by internal and external trainers, and team-building events together with their peers.
