Clinical duties include taking and recording vital signs, documenting medical histories, preparing patients for exams, drawing blood, and administering medications under physician or advanced practice provider direction. Help physicians or physician assistant examine and treat patients, handing them instruments and materials or performing such tasks as giving injections or removing sutures.
