Duties of a Director Revenue Cycle Applications IT may include the following but are not limited to: Oversees the operation and continuous improvement of all IT revenue cycle systems and interfaces, including Patient Financial Services, Charge Capture and Reconciliation, Registration, Scheduling, Patient Throughput, Health Information Management, Electronic Document and Signature Capture, Visitor Management, online payment solutions, Document Imaging, Diagnostic Coding, Deficiency Management, and Enterprise Master Patient Index across multiple hospitals and physician practices. It includes our Health Sciences schools - Medicine, Dental, Health Professions, Nursing and Social Welfare - a Program in Public Health, as well as Stony Brook University Hospital, Stony Brook Children's Hospital, Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, Stony Brook Eastern Long Island Hospital, Long Island State Veterans Home, and more than 200 community-based healthcare settings throughout Suffolk County.
