Position Summary: This role is responsible for delivering primary and episodic patient care in accordance with established standards, guidelines, and clinical protocols. <a href="https://xpresswellnessurgentcare.com/locations/oklahoma/woodward/" rel="nofollow">Woodward, OK</a>Duties and Responsibilities:<ul><li>Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments, including urgent, emergent, and non-urgent cases.</li><li>Select, order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and imaging studies to evaluate patient conditions and support clinical findings.</li><li>Review and analyze diagnostic reports and test results to determine diagnoses.</li><li>Prescribe or administer treatments, therapies, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized medical interventions to treat or prevent illness and injury.</li><li>Perform clinical procedures, including laceration repairs and orthopedic care, and provide referrals to medical specialists as needed.</li><li>Explain medical procedures, test results, and treatment plans to patients.</li><li>Document clinical findings and treatment plans in patient records, including follow-up notes, and ensure charts are completed and closed within 24–48 hours.</li><li>Manage communications related to recruiting, training, and trade events as required.</li><li>Provide medical orders, direction, care services, consultation, supervision of healthcare staff, and chart review. The Physician is available via direct telecommunication for consultation, assistance with medical emergencies, or patient referrals.</li><li>Oversee special projects and perform additional duties as assigned. Responsibilities:

Ensures patient exam rooms are disinfected, orderly, and ready for incoming patients. Responsibilities:
The Medical Assistant provides superior patient care and performs administrative and delegated clinical tasks that support patients in a clinic-based environment as part of a care team led by the physician and/or advanced practice provider. <ul style="direction: ltr; unicode-bidi: embed; margin-top: 0in; margin-bottom: 0in;" type="disc"><li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;">Enters, maintains, and reports all medical history, medical coding, and files claims using an Electronic Medical Record (EMR).</li><li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;">Patient visit support that may include: Greeting patients, and escorting patient to exam room and/or taking patients’ vital signs, and other applicable medical information to effectively support the reason for the patients visit and recommended treatment.</li><li style="margin-top: 0; margin-bottom: 0; vertical-align: middle;">Sterilizes and prepares medical instruments. Ensures patient exam rooms are disinfected, orderly, and ready for incoming patients.
