A typical day in this role includes routine prep work as you get ready for your day, using highly technical equipment utilizing CCTV equipment to view sewer lines with a camera, entering your findings into our system Cartegraph, Wincan, EnerGov and GIS, sending out related tasks for follow up, responding to citizen requests, or odor complaints, and locating services, assistance to other departments, among other things. Supports utility operations through preventive and corrective maintenance activities, safe operation of a wide range of vehicles, tools, and equipment and adheres to City safety and operating procedures; performs on-call, overtime, snow operations, and both independent and team-based work as required.
