This role directly drives revenue growth by building strong relationships with bank customers, building and maintaining the bank’s loan portfolio, and providing financial services to clients.This position is located in Truth or Consequences, NM. It is not a remote position.What you will do<ul><li>Develops loan and deposit relationships with current and prospective bank customers.</li><li>Evaluates client/applicant’s credit and financial status to determine appropriate lending decisions based on company risk-tolerance levels.</li><li>Structures loans within loan policy guidelines for presentation and approval by loan committee.</li><li>Determines value or status of collateral as necessary during the loan application process.</li><li>Maintains a strong knowledge of bank products and identifies opportunities to recommend products and services to customers.</li><li>Executes sales strategies to grow commercial lending revenue and bank deposits.</li><li>Manages existing loan portfolio and reviews financials including tax returns to ensure loan complies with covenants and policy.</li><li>Builds relationships with key members of the community, building a network to grow commercial lending revenue and deposit growth.</li><li>Represents the bank at local community and professional organization events.</li><li>Maintains a strong understanding of internal bank policies and banking regulations.</li><li>Other Duties as assigned.</li></ul>What you will need<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field required.</li><li>2+ years of commercial or agricultural related lending preferred.</li><li>Strong communication skills.</li></ul>What we offer<ul><li>Health Insurance</li><li>Dental Insurance</li><li>Vision Insurance</li><li>Paid Vacation, Sick, and Holiday time</li><li>A competitive 6% 401k match</li><li>And more!</li></ul>Candidate must pass a pre-employment screening including credit history and criminal record check.Our company provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.

Tactfully communicate with bank customers, & vendors. Strong drive to achieve customer satisfaction. Requirements: Attention to detail, effective oral and written commination skills; be customer service oriented; computer literate and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Applicants who have previous experience with commercial loan documentation will be given preference.Must be able to pass a credit, background and reference check. Position may be full time or part time - dependent on candidate experience.
