Under direction of the Veterinarians, plans, organizes, and supervises the daily operational, clinical, and administrative functions of the zoological veterinary hospital, surgical facilities, treatment wards, and quarantine areas, coordinates patient procedure scheduling, diagnostic intake, and quarantine protocols with animal care teams; does other related administrative and clinical duties as required. Oversees the operation, sterilization, and preventive maintenance of veterinary clinical equipment, including inhalant anesthesia machines, active gas scavenging systems, multiparameter patient monitors (capnography, ECG, pulse oximetry, blood pressure), autoclaves, fluid/CRI pumps, active patient warming devices, and diagnostic ultrasound.
