Overview:
Provide instruction to students taking Communications course(s) through a variety of delivery formats (e.g.: online, face-to-face, virtual computer conference) at Lakeshore College. Provide an exceptional customer service experience to both internal and external customers throughout every interaction. REASONABLE ACCOMMODATIONS/ADA: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (Other duties may be assigned): (100%) Instruction<ul><li>Responsible for placing learning first and providing educational experiences for learners in various delivery formats, schedules, and in various places in accordance with the mission of the college inclusive of: facilitating learning of diverse students, assessing student performance, as well as instruction and outcomes, developing and maintaining current/relevant course materials, and communicating with the community, other schools, the college, the division, and team members.</li><li>Developing curriculum, including learning activities and assessments.</li><li>Work with curriculum coach to ensure state and Lakeshore design requirements are met.</li><li>Teaching/training in business and industry may be assigned.</li></ul>

Qualifications:

Objective

Also responsible for working with the Human Resources Manager in developing, organizing, administering, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.Main Responsibilities
Support developing and administrating various human resources plans and procedures for all company associates and provide introductory and awareness training on occupational safety and health standards, regulations, rules, policies, procedures, and safe work practices. Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems and recommends necessary changes. Also develop recommend programs and procedures that will assist in meeting and/or exceed RH standards.Screening, interviewing, and hiring individuals for hourly vacancies. Coordinates drug screens for post-offer applicants. Completes all necessary paperwork for legal compliance and payroll purposes. Interprets employee handbook and provides guidance to Supervisors, Managers, and employees. Maintains good public relations status with local business community. Assists supervisors and management with disciplinary actions and counseling for associates. Handles employee relations counseling and exit interviewing. Coordinates new hire orientation programs. Assists in all areas of employee activities directed by the department. Coordinates all job posting and bidding information, recommends and obtains approval for associates awarded to the vacancy, and maintains bid folders.Ensures that the Companys principles, policies, and programs are consistently practiced. Assists the Human Resources Manager and Safety in maintaining a workplace and a safe and healthy work environment.Position Requirements
