The Case Worker provides services in a culturally responsive and respectful manner and demonstrates an understanding of the diverse communities served throughout Hawaii, including the ability to incorporate relevant Hawaiian, Asian, and Pacific Islander cultural values and perspectives when supporting clients toward healthy, stable, and balanced lives. The Case Worker assesses needs, processes applications for assistance, facilitates client-centered goal setting, helps clients navigate barriers, provides referrals to community resources, and advocates for clients, particularly in the areas of housing, employment, financial stability, and community connection.
