These include, but are not limited, to the following patient groups: Acute MIs, Heart Failure, Pulmonary Edema, Transcatheter Aortic Valve replacement (TAVR) Arrhythmias, Post-open-heart surgery (OHS), post endovascular procedures, post cardiac catheterization patients, s/p pacemaker and ICD insertion, Valvular Heart Disease, and medical/surgical overflow. Leadership: The nurse effectively collaborates and applies innovative, systems thinking to engage in systematic, evidence-based problem solving and decision making to promote effective changes within a complex care delivery system supporting the vision of Penn Medicine.
