Working in collaboration with primary care providers, Emergency Departments, physician practices, hospital systems, social services, and broader healthcare teams, the Community Paramedic helps reduce unnecessary emergency room visits, improve patient outcomes, and support chronic disease management, preventive care, and post-hospitalization follow-up. As part of our Mobile Integrated Healthcare team, the Community Paramedic provides high-quality, compassionate in-home and community-based care to patients who may not require emergency transport but need acute or non-acute treatment in place, ongoing care, or follow-up support.
