Reviews and verifies medication orders with consideration, including but not limited to the following patient specific parameters: diagnosis, weight/body surface area, age, allergies, organ function, laboratory values, medication duplication, drug interactions. Under the supervision of the Director of Pharmacy, following established hospital and departmental policies and procedures, the Pharmacist performs a variety of functions related to the compounding, preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of drug therapies, as well as providing drug information.
