Manages all aspects of paramedic-level care in-flight including but not limited to airway management including endotracheal intubation, IV and IO access, medication administration, cardiac monitoring, 12-lead EKG acquisition and interpretation, hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, chest decompression, and emergency intervention within paramedic scope of practice. Administers medications safely and in accordance with approved protocols, including verification of drug, dose, route, and patient identity prior to administration; documents all medications administered with time, route, and patient response within the required timeframe; maintains strict controlled substance accountability throughout the transport.
