Required Qualifications: IN license (or compact as of 7/1/20), BLS through AHA, at least 1.5 years of Level 1, Level 2, or tertiary experience, at least 1 year of MedSurg experience at a facility with 450+ beds, familiarity with using Epic electronic record system, pyxis medication distribution, Accucheck blood glucose, hospira IV pumps, SCDs for VTE prevention, and managing heparin and insulin drips. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with procedures such as colonoscopies, thoracentesis, paracentesis, bronchoscopy, minor surgeries, and managing diverse medical conditions including COPD, Diabetes, CHF, end-stage renal disease, infections, strokes, dementia, traumatic brain injuries, and mental health disorders.
