Perform carpentry work in the construction and routine maintenance of City buildings, structures, park amenities, and facilities; Install and make repairs to fencing, plumbing, and electrical apparatuses; Perform general painting, trimming, and wallpapering work; climbing on and off rooftops with ladders; working off of various ladders at various heights; Install and finish Sheetrock or plaster, carpeting, and suspended ceilings; Install and repair playground apparatuses, tennis courts, and other outdoor play surfaces; Repair and finish concrete walks, play areas, steps, and other masonry work; Install and repair water lines, fountains, and sprinklers in parks; Perform skilled mechanical work in the operation of swimming pool facilities and equipment; Weld repairs on equipment, gates, handrails, etc. Under general supervision, performs skilled maintenance and construction work on City buildings, equipment, facilities, and other properties; performs related work as required.
