This includes a minimum of 3 years of driving experience not including learner's permit time and a motor vehicle report review; Ability to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) within six months of employment (training provided by the City of Fishers); Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 100 pounds; Ability to climb ladders and maintain balance; Ability to work safely around traffic, heavy equipment, and construction activities; Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers and the public; Ability to prioritize work and perform multiple assignments in changing weather conditions; Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as well as emergency call-outs due to weather events or operational needs. Experience in concrete construction, including sidewalks, curbs, curb ramps, concrete pavement, or similar municipal infrastructure; Experience with concrete finishing, forming, grading, or flatwork; Experience operating construction equipment such as skid steers, loaders, excavators, rollers, or paving equipment; Experience working in roadway construction or municipal public works is preferred but not required.
