Performs a variety of journey-level carpentry work in remodeling repairing and maintaining buildings, and other wooden structures; performs carpentry work on new construction of buildings and additions to building; may be required to do milling wood turning, and pattern work, including building forms, flat finish, stucco and patch work, erecting walls, laying floors, finishing floors and patching of roofs as necessary. Maintains central key control records and security of keys, codes, combinations, and location and possession of keys; installs, adjusts, replaces and rebuilds locks; issues keys and locks, and keeps related records; opens locks that cannot be opened by ordinary means.
