Ensures that residents with decubitus ulcers receive appropriate prophylaxis and treatment, such as daily inspection, turning and activity, a well-planned diet, and maintenance of clean, dry bed. Treatment Nurse is responsible for patient/resident skin care and other medical assessments, treatments and documentation, under the direction of the Director of Nursing Services (DON) and/or attending physician(s).
