Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Current certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Project Management Institute (PMI) member; Knowledge of construction principles and techniques; Knowledge of mathematics; Knowledge of construction materials; Knowledge of planning and monitoring techniques; Knowledge and skills with a personal computer; Ability to review and interpret contract documents, building plans, and specifications; Ability to understand and apply laws, rules, building codes, regulations, policies, and procedures; Ability to plan, organize and coordinate work assignments; Ability to inspect construction projects for compliance with plans and specifications; Ability to develop cost estimates; Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing; Ability to complete training and administer skills acquired during CPR; Condition of Employment. Fulfills all associated duties of a Florida Certified Contract Manager and Project Management Institute (PMI) certified Project Management Professional (PMP)including but not limited to: initiating the procurement process, monitoring project activities and deliverables, complying with Florida Statutes and codes, managing the vendor relationship, and ensuring proper invoicing.
