The company operates with a lean, hands-on structure and is looking for a Superintendent who can take ownership of projects, lead from the field, and keep work moving safely and efficiently.The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment, communicates well with subcontractors and clients, and understands how to maintain schedules without sacrificing quality.Project TypesProjects may include:<ul><li>Educational facilities</li><li>Municipal and government projects</li><li>Commercial developments</li><li>Industrial and infrastructure-related facilities</li><li>Renovations and ground-up construction</li></ul>Typical project sizes range from several million dollars to large-scale institutional developments.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Oversee daily field operations from mobilization through project completion</li><li>Manage subcontractors, schedules, site logistics, and inspections</li><li>Coordinate with Project Managers, architects, engineers, and ownership teams</li><li>Ensure projects remain on schedule and within quality expectations</li><li>Conduct safety meetings and maintain OSHA compliance on-site</li><li>Review construction documents, drawings, RFIs, and subcontractor scopes</li><li>Lead site coordination meetings and maintain accurate daily reports</li><li>Identify and resolve field issues proactively to avoid delays</li><li>Maintain strong communication with clients and internal leadership</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>5+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction</li><li>Experience managing ground-up and/or major renovation projects</li><li>Strong understanding of commercial construction methods and sequencing</li><li>Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain jobsite organization</li><li>Experience with scheduling software and construction management platforms such as Procore or MS Project preferred</li><li>Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications</li><li>OSHA certification preferred</li><li>Stable work history with proven project success</li></ul>Ideal BackgroundStrong consideration will be given to candidates with experience in:<ul><li>K-12 or higher education construction</li><li>Municipal/government projects</li><li>Commercial or institutional construction</li><li>Design-build environments</li><li>Mid-sized General Contractors where the Superintendent had significant project ownership</li></ul>What Makes This Opportunity Attractive<ul><li>Strong pipeline of Texas commercial construction projects</li><li>Leadership team that values field input and operational execution</li><li>Lean company structure with less bureaucracy</li><li>Opportunity for long-term growth into Senior Superintendent or Operations leadership</li><li>Stable company with decades of construction experience across Texas markets</li></ul>Why Apply?This is your chance to join a financially strong, growth-oriented contractor with decades of market presence.
