Provides one-on-one or small group instruction to students by teaching students study skills, note taking skills, test taking strategies, assisting with homework, discussing testing techniques, working on solutions to problems, reviewing worksheets or other assignments, and assessing students progress throughout the tutoring session. Maintains open communication by welcoming students and families, sharing updates on progress, homework completion, and emotional or developmental needs, providing resources and opportunities for involvement, addressing concerns with parents in a timely manner, and informing the Lead and Education Department Director of significant parent-teacher concerns.
