Education Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Logistics, or related fieldRequired Skills for the Strategic Sourcing Specialist - Corporate Services:- Minimum of 7 years’ procurement experience in a related industry- Excellent organizational and time management skills- Strong process analysis and analytical skills, including the ability to use data to drive decision making- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive groups with divergent opinions toward effective, collaborative decisions- Strong supplier relationship and conflict management skills- Strong oral and written communications and influencing skills- Ability to effectively summarize program status and create PowerPoint presentations for executive audiences- Able to navigate a global matrixed organization, influence stakeholders, and affect outcomes with limited direct authority- Ability to think outside the box, multi-task, and work well under pressure to identify issues and resolve them in partnership with business leadersStrategic Sourcing Specialist - Corporate Services Overview:- This position is an individual contributor role within the Strategic Sourcing group of the Global Procurement team, supporting Corporate Services sourcing events- The role works closely with internal stakeholders and Procurement leadership to execute Corporate Services Strategic Sourcing projects globally- The successful candidate will proactively engage with stakeholders to support strategic priorities, drive business objectives, and expense reduction initiatives, as well as provide consultative support to resolve business challenges- The role will also conduct data analysis to support strategic decision making- The Strategic Sourcing Specialist will support the development and execution of sourcing strategies with a focus on optimizing spend, mitigating risk, maximizing savings, and assuring quality and delivery of products and services to the Company- The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong negotiation skills and extensive experience in strategic sourcing, translating expertise into cost savings and competitive advantagePrimary Responsibilities:- Execute the full sourcing cycle for assigned projects, including vendor identification and selection, price negotiation, and contract “red-lining” in collaboration with Legal counterparts for MSA’s, Schedules, SOW’s, etc- Develop and maintain a pipeline of strategic sourcing opportunities through the introduction of a competitive marketplace, demand management, supplier consolidation, and process reengineering- Independently manage high-value sourcing engagements of varying spend, risk, and complexity across categories such as Management Consulting, Temporary Labor, Business Outsourcing, Real Estate, Facilities and SecurityServices, and others- Coordinate with business clients to agree on approach and schedule for sourcing projects and related contract negotiations- Communicate regularly with key business stakeholders regarding project approach, scope, key issues, status, business requirements, and relevant dependencies- Assess savings opportunities on all engagements and work with clients to achieve optimal cost reductions/savings as appropriate. Additional Responsibilities- Evaluate sourcing procedures and present improvement strategies to senior management for approval- Analyze and calculate procurement costs and develop cost reduction strategies- Support purchasing decisions based on cost and scenario analysis, as well as market trends- Negotiate contracts with key suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, and quality- Collaborate with the procurement department to identify and pursue new supplier opportunities- Conduct market research and create cost estimates and forecasts- Estimate risks and apply risk-minimizing techniques, ensuring contracts comply with industry regulations- Maintain strategic sourcing relationships and develop strong partnerships **Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.**
