As we continue our impressive growth trend, we are seeking a full-time Human Resources Assistant to join our team at our office in Post Falls.Job SummaryThe HR Assistant will play a critical role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department. This position requires a strong understanding of HR processes, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR and a minimum of some college coursework in a related field.Duties / Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new employees.</li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.</li><li>Support payroll processing by ensuring employee data is current and addressing payroll inquiries.</li><li>Assist with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and answering employee questions.</li><li>Coordinate employee training sessions and maintain training documentation.</li><li>Help organize and execute employee engagement activities, such as company events and recognition programs.</li><li>Monitor and ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.</li><li>Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, escalating issues to the HR Manager as necessary.</li><li>Perform general administrative tasks to support the HR department, such as preparing reports, correspondence, and presentations.</li></ul>Required Skills / Abilities<ul><li>Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR-related role.</li><li>Some college coursework in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (an Associate's degree or higher is preferred).</li><li>Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS systems.</li><li>Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.</li><li>A positive, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work independently.</li><li>Knowledge of federal and state labor laws is a plus.</li></ul>Physical Requirements•Ability to stand, sit and/or walk for prolonged periods of time•Must be able to distinguish between colorsCompensation Package•In addition to a competitive salary, our benefits also include health insurance, dental, vision, PTO, 401K with a generous match, paid holidays, employee discounts and paid breaks.• Pay range for this position is $20.11-$30/hr
