Pay: $38.00 an hour **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):** + Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice or protective service related field + Law enforcement experience + Military experience + Three (3) or more years of experience as an armed security professional **RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information + Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information + Preserve order and enforces rules, regulations, and directives for the viability of the site + Maintains proficiency in the use of all assigned protective equipment, restraint devices and weapons. Armed Security Officers act as a visible deterrent to crime and client rule infractions; they detect and report suspicious, unsafe or criminal acts at or near their assigned posts which may be a threat to the property, clients, guests or employees at the site.
