It is a full-time position and will work year-round , focusing on different aspects of the nursery depending on the season: Transplanting seedlings in the spring, maintaining potted plants in the summer, collecting seed in the fall, and cleaning seed in the winter. You’ll spend time in the seed warehouse, the greenhouse, and the field, operating equipment like trimmers, seed cleaning machines and can learn to drive a forklift, an ATV and other equipment—don’t worry, safety is always the top priority and you will be fully trained by our staff before you use any of our equipment.
