Responsibilities: The Prep Cook/Porter is responsible to complete all items on the daily preparation list, including, but not limited to, protein prep, vegetables, sauces and dressing and other food items, keeping the area stocked with items throughout the shift, cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining equipment, utensils, and tools. This position will ensure the availability of clean dishes by washing dishes, pots, pans, and flatware, maintain a clean work area while following health and safety guidelines, following directions of the chef and use the guidance of the other cooks in the kitchen.
