Supervise and direct daily work activities of a maintenance crew; train employees in equipment operation and safety procedures; perform asphalt repairs, pipe installation assistance, right-of-way clearing, and work zone setup; operate equipment including asphalt maintainer, patch truck, tandem dump truck, crack sealing machine, rollers, sweepers, skid steer, and backhoe; perform grounds and minor building maintenance, including fire extinguisher inspections; manage yard inventory, safety gear, and tool upkeep; load and deliver materials to job sites; and respond to emergencies such as snow/ice removal, storm cleanup, and traffic incidents. Experience in the operation of at least 2 pieces of the following equipment: backhoe, tandem dump truck, motor grader, front end loader, forklift, force feed loader, asphalt distributor, asphalt patcher, crack sealing machine, track excavators, skid steer, or sweeper.
