Requirements: RN license (Maryland or compact), BLS, 16-hour Maryland-approved trauma course, 8 hours annual trauma CEUs, 2 years of OR experience, Level II trauma experience, proficiency in various surgical procedures, experience with emergency OR response, fire safety, malignant hyperthermia, latex allergy precautions, electrosurgical units, fiber-optic equipment, Steris equipment.
