Supervision skill (preferred) Demonstrated abilities in analytics, problem solving and team building Strong relationship building & communication skills Self-Motivation with ability to make decision with minimum supervision Ability to work under pressure & maintain flexibility Attention to detail Action oriented Vendor management Knowledge of SAP APO and SAP ECC(proficient experience preferred) What you need to know about this position: Working Relationships: Reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager/Materials Manager Liaison to plant functional managers Daily direct contact with Headquarters Materials Managers, Planners, and Procurement Daily direct contact with Freight Carriers and Vendors Daily direct contact with warehouse handler and plant operators Job specific requirements: Computer proficiency (MS Office to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Excellent Communication Skills (Verbal and Written) Excellent Time Management Skills Strength in the ability to multi-tasking, strong influencing skill, attention to detail, analytical skill, and ability to deal with ambiguity, and influence in a matrixed environment Available to work flexible hours and days as needed to meet business demands Possess a basic financial understanding to ensure results are delivered on time and in full Education / Certifications: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, and Business Or 3-5 years in relevant Work Experience in Material Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Management, Material Handling, Purchasing, and/or Forecasting Knowledge of SAP APO and SAP ECC usage (proficient experience preferred) Work schedule: M-F 1st Shift mostly - Flexibility required for this position. 2- Material Management a) Work closely with Suppliers, Transportation, HQ Material Management, and Procurement group to ensure materials are not shorted for production via use of processes to confirm order receipts at the suppliers, and their acknowledgement of delivering on our required date and quantity.
