Requirements: 2 years of experience in a hospital setting; active compact license at submission or active Virginia RN license; BLS; PALS; recent bedside PICU experience; strong pediatric assessment skills; ability to recognize deterioration and respond to pediatric emergencies; competency in weight-based medication administration and IV therapy; experience caring for pediatric patients requiring mechanical ventilation, high-flow oxygen, and noninvasive respiratory support; management of continuous medication infusions, including sedation and vasoactive medications; central line care and invasive monitoring; experience caring for patients with respiratory failure, DKA, sepsis, and status epilepticus; strong communication, teamwork, and prioritization skills.
