The minimum qualifications for the position are as follows: Either equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university with coursework that has included 30 semester or 45 quarter units in social welfare, social/human services, sociology or other behavioral science AND one year of professional-level social services work in a public or private social services agency; OR successful completion of 30 semester or 45 quarter units in social welfare, social/human services, sociology or other behavioral science AND two years of professional-level social services work in a public or private social services agency; OR possession of a Masters degree in Social Services OR a two-year counseling program by time of appointment. If you are license-eligible working under the supervision of a licensed clinician in one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP), please state your registration number and the expiration date.
