The Summer Camp Counselor's primary location will be at the Hammond recreation Center, responsible for assisting with organization, planning, leading and teacl1ing of one or more activity classes of the camping program including: nature study, arts and crafts, sports, games, music, special features, events or field trips. Leadership skills to include the ability to inspire confidence and enthusiasm to the recreation staff, participants, andparents; Ability to make mature decisions affecting the safety and well-being of children; Skilled and active participation in varied sports/recreation activities such as bowling, skating, field games, etc.
