Most current Minimum Qualifications for Faculty in California Community Colleges: Master's in counseling, rehabilitation counseling, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, guidance counseling, educational counseling, social work, or career development, marriage and family therapy, or marriage, family, and child counseling OR the equivalent. Assist with the development and delivery of orientation programs to assist students in the development of an educational plan; provide follow-up counseling to review student progress, especially for the students who are undecided, deficient in skills, and/or subject to probation dismissal.
