You have the opportunity to make a direct impact on our customers' day by ensuring that their delivery is on time and in great condition, leaving recipients delighted with their Edible experience.</p><p>As an independent contractor, you will use your vehicle for deliveries.</p><p>Store Location: This role will be based out of our Corporate Store in North Haven, CT</p><p>Store Address: 101 Washington Ave. North Haven, CT 06473</p><p>Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Delivers Edible products to customers in an efficient, courteous, accurate, and timely manner\u202f</li><li>Exhibits exceptional customer service to recipients and delivers a WOW experience\u202f</li><li>Gathers and organizes delivery tickets by area\u202f</li><li>Log tickets in the phone app</li><li>Loads product in your vehicle in a manner suitable for safe transport</li><li>Operate your vehicle safely and responsibly, strictly adhering to all traffic laws, regulations, and rules of the road</li><li>Communicate with the store team regarding delivery status and any issues</li></ul><p>Requirements:</p><ul><li>Must have a reliable vehicle for deliveries</li><li>Current, valid State Driver's License and a clean driving record</li><li>Ability to provide proof of auto vehicle insurance</li><li>Experience as a "Courier Driver" is preferred, not required</li><li>Must have a smartphone with a willingness to download a mobile application to enable deliveries and delivery tracking</li></ul><p>Physical Requirements:</p><ul><li>Must be able to conduct frequent lifting, carrying, and/or pushing objects weighing up to 40 lbs.</li><li>Must be able to sit and drive for long periods, up to 85% of the work shift.</li><li>Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.</li></ul><p>We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer.
