<h2>Job Title: CT Technologist</h2>Shift: Mid Shift | 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM Location: Roswell, New Mexico Employment Type: Full-Time<h3>Position Summary</h3>We are seeking a skilled and motivated CT Technologist to join our imaging team in Roswell, NM. The CT Technologist will perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging results. This position works a mid shift from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM and supports evening imaging needs.<blockquote>Residency Requirement: Candidates must live at least 50 miles outside of Roswell, NM.</blockquote><hr/><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul class="list-disc pl-8"><li>Perform CT examinations according to established protocols and physician orders</li><li>Ensure patient identification, safety screening, and proper positioning</li><li>Administer contrast media as required, following safety and infection control guidelines</li><li>Operate CT equipment safely and efficiently to produce high-quality diagnostic images</li><li>Monitor patients during procedures and respond appropriately to patient needs or adverse reactions</li><li>Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record</li><li>Follow all departmental policies, regulatory standards, and radiation safety guidelines</li><li>Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff</li><li>Participate in quality assurance, equipment maintenance, and continuing education</li></ul><hr/><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul class="list-disc pl-8"><li>Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program</li><li>ARRT (CT) certification required (or ARRT Radiography with CT certification eligibility)</li><li>Current New Mexico Radiologic Technologist license (or ability to obtain)</li><li>BLS certification required</li><li>Minimum of 1 year of CT experience preferred (new graduates with CT training may be considered)</li><li>Strong knowledge of CT anatomy, protocols, and radiation safety</li></ul><hr/><h3>Skills & Competencies</h3><ul class="list-disc pl-8"><li>Excellent patient care and communication skills</li><li>Ability to work independently during mid and evening hours</li><li>Strong attention to detail and image quality</li><li>Ability to handle a fast-paced clinical environment</li><li>Professional, dependable, and team-oriented</li></ul><hr/><h3>Work Schedule</h3><ul class="list-disc pl-8"><li>Mid Shift: 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM</li><li>May include weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities as required</li></ul><hr/><h3>Physical Requirements</h3><ul class="list-disc pl-8"><li>Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift</li><li>Ability to lift and position patients with or without assistance</li><li>Manual dexterity to operate imaging equipment</li></ul>
