If you’re excited about bringing learning to life and making each day at work enjoyable, read on!What You’ll DoDevelop high-quality educational content, with a particular focus on MCAT Biochemistry and AP Chemistry. This includes:<ul><li>Creating original exam-style questions and answer explanations for our digital MCAT Biochemistry and AP Chemistry Question Banks</li><li>Developing additional digital and print materials, including:</li><li><ul><li>Video lecture slides and scripts</li><li>Educational flashcards</li><li>Educational lecture slides</li><li>Progress quizzes</li><li>Content for Biochemistry and Chemistry review books/study guides</li><li>Other curricular materials as needed</li></ul></li><li>Ensuring all content aligns with exam blueprints and reflects best practices in instructional design</li><li>Collaborating with editors, illustrators, and fellow content developers to produce accurate, clear, and engaging materials</li><li>Reviewing and refining existing content, incorporating feedback to maintain the highest standards of quality and accuracy</li><li>Responding to student and internal feedback promptly, revising materials to keep them fresh and precise</li><li>Working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, IT, and product development to uphold and enhance UWorld’s brand</li><li>Safeguarding the integrity and confidentiality of UWorld’s proprietary educational assets</li></ul>What You’ll BringMinimum Qualifications<ul><li>Master’s degree or higher in Biochemistry, Biological Chemistry, or a related biomedical science field (PhD preferred)</li><li>Demonstrated skill in writing and reviewing academic or instructional content</li><li>2+ years of teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level</li><li>2+ years of scientific research experience</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Experience writing multiple-choice questions or test prep materials</li><li>Background in instructional design or curriculum development</li></ul>Key Skills<ul><li>Passion for education and student success</li><li>Excellent writing and editing skills with keen attention to detail</li><li>Ability to thrive both independently and in a collaborative setting</li><li>Openness to constructive feedback and iterative development</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and basic tech tools</li></ul>BenefitsWhy You’ll Love Working at UWorld<ul><li>Salary starts at $70K, with higher compensation based on experience</li><li>Generous paid time off—including parental and bereavement leave, plus a full week off during the winter holiday season</li><li>8 hours of paid volunteer time per year</li><li>Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and even pet insurance!</li><li>401(k) with a 5% employer match (eligible after 90 days of employment)</li><li>Professional growth opportunities, including annual learning and development programs</li><li>Onsite fitness classes and wellness initiatives</li><li>A flexible, relaxed work environment</li><li>Departmental team-building events, such as fun team activities and outings to local restaurants, monthly birthday parties, and potlucks</li><li>A fun-loving company-wide Social Committee that hosts awesome inclusive events— Field Day, Halloween Costume Party, Annual Company Gala, and many more! </li></ul>At UWorld, we celebrate the power of diverse ideas, experiences, and talents.
