Supervising, participating in, and conducting training in such activities as: Sweeping, washing, polishing, and vacuuming as required for the care of floors (concrete, asphalt tile, linoleum, vinyl tile, cork, terrazzo, marble, wooden, ceramic tile, and carpet), including the safe use of detergents, chemicals, and cleaners, sawdust, mops, pails, and brooms, and the use and care of cleaning equipment (vacuum cleaners, waxing and polishing machines, and carpet cleaners). To have charge of and participate in the cleaning and sanitary maintenance of a branch library building, or, under supervision, to participate in the cleaning and sanitary maintenance of the Central Library building, the care and maintenance of the basic operation of the HVAC and electrical systems, and the care and maintenance of the grounds of the building, and to perform related work as required.
