The head custodian, under moderate supervision, performs supervisory work with limited decision-making discretion overseeing custodial personnel at an assigned school while providing and maintaining a safe, clean, and healthy environment for staff, students, and visitors. Clean classrooms, including but not limited to, removing trash, dusting furniture and equipment, sweeping and mopping the floors, and polishing metal fixtures.
