Custodians are responsible for cleaning a variety of the spaces, which include classrooms, restrooms, offices, lounges, board rooms, kitchens, cafeterias, restaurants, auditoriums, lecture halls, banquet rooms, outside entrances to buildings, hallways and foyers, gymnasiums, locker rooms, weight rooms, science labs, computer labs, libraries, reading rooms, work rooms, communications center, art galleries, staircases, child care areas, and other public areas. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Knowledge of carpet and floor care procedures, methods, and equipment • Experience cleaning large institutions • Self-discipline, self-motivation • Ability to work with college staff in a pleasant manner • Ability to work well with diverse populations • Must possess a valid drivers license.
