Supporting location-wide partnerships; Modeling best practices and encouraging all location staff to connect with and serve teens to ensure a continuum of service; Continuing to cultivate a timely and dynamic teen collection that is representative of the community's needs under the guidance of the Coordinator of Children's & Teen Collections and Library Services Manager; Managing the Teenspace, including space upkeep, equipment/supplies, behavior, and creating engaging displays; assisting with these tasks at the branch level, as needed; Overseeing the experiences of volunteers in service to teens and teen volunteers, as needed; Assisting with day-to-day operations of the location, which may include circulation, registration, and shelving; Engaging in continuing education opportunities to develop and maintain job skills. The Teen LibraryServices Associate acts as a mentor and connects teens to resources and opportunities that reflect their interests, respond to their needs within diverse and changing communities, and empower them to be builders of their own future.
