Successful candidates typically have 10+ years of experience in the following areas: Developing the strategy and setting direction for the practice to drive a global team of consultants serving a diverse client base; Identifying and building cloud-based solutions to drive growth in project-based and managed services; Confidently speaking with knowledgeable clients on the topic of cloud strategy, architecture, workload migration planning, and common security practices such as landing zones; Eminence building in the cloud industry through frequent publishing and speaking on relevant topics; Managing relationships with major cloud platform providers - AWS, Azure, GCP - including working with partner representatives, maintaining executive-level relationships, and cultivating sales channels; Understanding the financial, human resources, and operational responsibilities of operating a global consultant practice; Recruiting top cloud security talent through your network and eminence activities; Identifying, helping qualify, pursuing, and winning client engagements in cloud security including, but not limited to Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and other common Cloud IaaS and SaaS solutions (e.g. Alibaba, DigitalOcean); Providing cloud security subject matter knowledge on client engagements to assist with developing cloud security strategies and roadmap, architecture, leading practices, and operational effectiveness; Acting as a subject matter specialist for cloud security including, but not limited to identity and access management, network security, data encryption (in motion/at rest), API gateway security, infrastructure hardening and security, change management and change control, insider threat, monitoring/alerting; Providing leading practices in cloud security operations, incident response, business resiliency; Understanding common cloud deployment models (private, public, hybrid) including platform types (IaaS, SaaS, PaaS); Fluency in cloud security leading practices (CSA best practices guide, AWS Security Best Practices, Google Best Practices for Enterprise Organizations, others); Executing solution delivery engagements for both small and large cloud environments; Designing, architecting, implementing, and supporting simple to complex enterprise cloud solutions for a variety of business use cases and requirements; Guiding and mentoring clients through the entire process.
