Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements** + Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited program plus 6 years of relevant structural engineering experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education + Valid Professional Engineer license recognized by a state licensing board + U.S. Citizenship due to the nature of the work **Preferred Requirements** + **Master’s degree in Structural Engineering** + **10 or more years of experience with an engineering firm designing structural systems for commercial and institutional facilities** + **Ability to obtain security clearance.** + Proven experience with major building codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC, TMS, NDS) + Proficient in the use of 3D structural analysis software (RAM Structural, ETABS, RISA, SAP2000, etc.) + Demonstrated experience designing concrete and steel structures.
