Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative experience requirement not applicable to this section) - must possess the following skills (i) deploy core analytics methodologies and techniques including at least two of the following: predictive modeling, exploratory data analysis, descriptive statistics, variable reduction, segmentation/clustering, linear programming, integer programming, dynamic programming, and/or constraint programming; (ii) design complex analytics solutions and products using at least two of the following analytics techniques: time series analysis, linear, logistic, and multinomial regression, decision-tree based models, neural networks, Monte Carlo simulations, mathematical optimization, matrix factorization, deep learning approaches, and/or natural language processing; (iii) perform data visualization using at least one of the following tools: Tableau, GIS toolkits, JavaScript/D3, and/or R Shiny; (iv) execute quality control and performance testing in multiple languages, including at least two of the following: Python, R, Spark, and/or SQL; (v) drive Agile projects and apply lean methodologies to model development; and (vi) deliver impactful, client facing analytics solutions. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer/Data Science, Engineering, Business, Economics, Operations Research, or a related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and four (4) years of experience as a Data Scientist or related occupation developing advanced data analytics solutions in an enterprise environment, which must include at least six (6) months of experience leading the design and roll-out of analytics engagements.
