Salary starting at $57,000 annually and up, depending on experience The Pharmacy Technician Intake Supervisor is responsible for managing incoming patient, prescriber, and/or prescription-related communication received by the pharmacy, including but not limited to triaging communications to the appropriate internal departments, processing incoming faxes and electronic prescriptions, the proper set up of patient profiles, creating new drug orders, and communicating with prescribers to request refill prescriptions. Skills/Knowledge Required: Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work with all levels of management and staff, vast knowledge of pharmacy terminology and process including sig codes, and roman numerals, brand/generic names of medication, advanced typing, math and analytical skills.
