P3's goals are to reduce disparities between neighborhoods, particularly economic well-being and community safety disparities, increase opportunities for Black men to participate in the workforce and to have increased economic security, and improve neighborhood safety, with a reduction in gun violence, fewer homicides, and safer streets. Program Description: The Office of Public Safety (OPS), Division of Safe Neighborhoods' (DSN) program, Pushing Progress Philly (P3), will serve Philadelphians who are at least 18 years old, at elevated risk of gun violence, and resistant to typical interventions.
