For new technologies, assistance is provided in the qualification of suppliers for new products to ensure suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services for new or improved manufacturing processes; conduct feasibility studies, testing on new and modified designs; direct and support detailed design, testing, prototype fabrication, and manufacturing ramp-up. The R&D/Product Development Engineering Teams are responsible for all product documentation, including, but not limited to, CAD geometry, Simulation, patent submittals, production documentation, product and application specifications, test planning, agency certifications, and ensuring full completion of all digital product assets, ensuring product information is available to support all global customers.
