Position Overview: The Software Configuration Specialist is responsible for maintaining configuration control of system artifacts, managing software releases, tracking changes to applications and environments, supporting testing and deployment activities, and ensuring compliance with FSC configuration management policies and procedures. The position works closely with system architects, Oracle functional teams, developers, testers, database administrators, and Government stakeholders to ensure changes are properly documented, reviewed, tested, approved, and implemented.
