Job Responsibilities: As a Databricks Engineer, you will: Install, configure, and administer Databricks instance, including managing connections and interfaces with external applications and data repositories Develop and develop Databricks solutions including models, proofs of concept, and prototypes Collaborate with data scientists to test and validate models and outputs Implement data transfer between external applications, databases, and Databricks Optimize performance and cost of pipelines and solutions Implement logging, monitoring, and data quality checks Produce technical documentation Support additional Data and AI practice activities such as demand planning, requirement gathering, delivery-led sales, people development, and solution development Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizenship is required Eligible to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance Bachelor’s Degree or higher is required, preferably in a relevant field such as information technology, information systems, information management, computer engineering, computer science, data analytics, or data science Minimum of 6 years of total professional experience Demonstrated capability in: Hands-on installation, configuration, and administration of Databricks instances Optimizing performance and cost of Databricks compute resources, workflows, Delta Lake, and APIs Leveraging Python, R, or SQL to develop data pipelines, ETL processes, data validations or enrichment Supporting model development in Databricks including extraction of data from relational stores such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server Coordinating and influencing stakeholders, managing communications in fast-paced operational environments, and managing expectations Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to multi-task and stay flexible in a dynamic work environment Preferred Qualifications/Skills Currently active government security clearance Databricks certifications Experience with CSPs (Azure and AWS) Knowledge of federal regulations (FedRAMP, HIPAA, etc.) About Capgemini Capgemini is a global business and technology transformation partner, helping organizations to accelerate their dual transition to a digital and sustainable world, while creating tangible impact for enterprises and society.
