The incumbent must support and consistently reinforce developmental training of CYP direct care professionals, providing ongoing guidance on the range of principles, practices, and techniques to ensure safe, healthy, and appropriate classroom/activity area operations, including recognition and identification of childhood illnesses and child abuse, etc. Collaborates with the TCS to coach CYP direct care professionals in developmentally appropriate practices, classroom management, and development of educationally enriching environments and activities that meet the physical, social, emotion, language, cognitive, life skills, and vocational needs of children/youth in care.
